WE ARE
Frontline Ending FGM
We bridge the critical gap between global resources and local action
FrontlineEndingFGM directly funds grassroots organizations and frontline women, ensuring that vital support for ending FGM reaches the remote communities most in need. Our mission is to empower local leaders with the resources to drive lasting, community-led change, so that no woman is ever left behind.
Built on the lived-experience of thousands of women and activists fighting FGM on the frontline, we champion the Born Perfect Campaign and its proven 3-step model:

1- Born Perfect Academies
Bringing together survivors, activists, and influential voices from each region for 5 days of direct training on advocacy and running the Tree of Life, Born Perfect Caravans, and local media blitzes ahead of the campaign roll-out.

2- Born Perfect Caravans
Travelling from village to village, frontline activists take the road with region-specific religious leaders, cultural influencers, police officials, doctors, and musicians, all with one message: Our girls are born perfect, say no to FGM.

3- Local Media Campaigns
Ignited by the Caravans, local activists run three years of intense end-FGM messaging on local radio and TV, with relentless jingles and influential guests
Our model is built on the most influential interventions for FGM eradication, as identified in the UNICEF 2025 paper, “What works to prevent female genital mutilation?” → UNICEF 2025
Supporting the empowerment and education of women and girls.
Engaging entire communities, including men, boys, religious and cultural leaders, and officials.
Providing health education on the medical risks of FGM.
Utilizing media to amplify the end-FGM message.
Training health professionals and midwives to offer medical advice and de-infibulation services.
We work directly with governments, foundations, and philanthropists to bridge the gap between global resources and local action – ensuring funding reaches those best placed and experienced to end FGM: The Frontline.
